5:00PM – Pre-race meeting

Saturday, September 24, 2005

4:30AM – Shuttle leaves from Slickrock Trail Parking to start line.
5:30AM – Arrive at start line at Pack Creek picnic area.
6:00AM – Start sharp!
4:30PM – BBQ and Awards begin
8:00PM – Race course closes

Race Morning Shuttle

We will be meeting at 4:30 AM at the famous Slickrock Bike Trail parking lot. This will the the finish line. We will transport runners to Pack Creek picinic area, which is the start line for the race. If you have a driver that will be at your aid stations and don't need a lift, please tell us, so we can make the proper estimate of the numbers for our shuttle.

Directions To Slickrock Bike Trail

From Visitor Center parking lot (Center and Main Streets) in Moab, turn right onto Center Street. Go .3 mile east on Center St. and turn right onto 400 East. Go .4 miles south to Mill Creek Drive and take a left (Dave's Market is on the corner). Go another .5 mile on Mill Creek Drive until the next intersection. Continue straight at this intersection onto the Sand Flats Road. In 1.8 miles reach the entrance to the Sand Flats Recreational Area. There is a $5.00 fee per car at the entrance booth. The Slickrock Bike Trail parking lot is .6 mile on the left past the entrance station. The total distance to the Slickrock Trailhead from downtown Moab is a total of 3.6 miles.
